What we check before a subscriber counts, and how disputes work.

Every referred subscriber goes through our quality check before the advertiser pays and the publisher earns. It runs automatically from the moment someone signs up until the end of the quality check period.

What passes
- Standard (14 days): real, verified readers who are still subscribed when the period ends.
- Premium (up to 21 days): everything in Standard, and the reader must genuinely engage with the newsletter.
Anyone who doesn't pass is refunded to the advertiser's balance automatically.
Disputes
Advertisers can dispute a subscriber during the quality check under Grow → New readers. Remove them from your list, and you're refunded when the period ends.
